We met Ray Lei in Ottawa this year, and loved his work. He has a wonderful design sense, an infectious exuberance, and is totally inventive. He’s also a blast to talk with because of his great sense of humor. Once he starts talking, you just want to listen to everything he has to say. You’re not quite sure where he’s going, but the trip getting there is so fun that you really don’t care. And when you do finally see where he’s going, it proves to have been worth the time spent. His animation is pretty much the same. Check for his short “Pear or Alien” too.
